10 Places I Would Like to Show to a Foreigner

  *Tallinn's Old Town
-I think everyone who comes to Estonia, should vist Tallinn's old town, because it's one of the oldest towns in Europe and it has beautiful houses and a really cool town hall square, expecially when it's snowing in the winter
  *Rakvere castel
-Rakvere castel is an old fortress from the middle ages in Rakvere. Nowadays it's a popular tourist spot, there you can visit the chamber of tortures and try out some cool stuff and activities like walking on crutches
  *The big eggmountain
-I know that Estonia hasn't got any real mountains, but when you go up that hill you can see and experience the beautiful nature of Estonia
  *Piusa caves
-Those caves are really beautiful and mysterious, and if you want to get really extreme and you like bats I recommend visiting those caves when bats hibernate
  *Estonia's swamps/bogs
-Estonian swamps/bogs are really ordinary, because there aren't alot of them left in Europe or any other place in the world and I bet anyone who goes there will expirience something new and stunning
  *Tartu
-Tartu is the university capital of Estonia and also one of the oldest cities in Europe. In Tartu there are a lot sightseeing everywhere and I really recommend going there
  *Saaremaa
-Saaremaa is the biggest island in Estonia. There are a lot of sightseeing there and the culture there is very unique. I really recommend going to Kuressaare when your visiting Saaremaa, because that little town is really cute and the people there are really friendly
  *Hiiumaa
-Seriously if you want to relax and rest from the big city, Hiiumaa is the best place to go, especially because of it's beautiful nature, lighthouses, beaches and the so called Eiffel tower :D
  *Tallinn's TV tower
-Now that the tower has been renovated it's really beautiful up there, that is a sight that must be seen and the restorant up there is really good too. From up there you can see Estonias forests and landscape
  *Estonia's Open-air museum
jk-In that museum you can see how estonians lived many many years back, there are old houses and other buildings where us estonians lived. There you can even ride horse carriages and have a nice picnick afterwards

Katy Perry

                                                  Katy Perry

Her real name is Kathryn Elizabeth Hudson .She was born on 25 October 1984 in California.Raised by Christian pastor parents. Perry grew up listening to only gospel music and sang in her local church as a child. After earning a GED during her freshman year of high school, she began to pursue a career in music. As Katy Hudson, she released a self-titled gospel album in 2001.That was unsucsessfull .She later recorded an album with production team The Matrix and completed the majority of a solo album from 2004–5; neither of which were released After signing with Capitol Music Group in 2007, her fourth record label in seven years, she adopted the stage name Katy Perry and released her first Internet single "Ur So Gay" that November, which garnered public attention but failed to chart. She rose to fame with the release of her second single "I Kissed a Girl" in 2008, which went on to top international charts. I like Katy Perry, because I love her music. My favorite songs are ´´E.T´´ and ´´Teenage Dream´´, also one of my favorite song is ``I kissed a girl``, because that was her first song. I also have all of her songs in my MP3 player. And ``Teenage Dream`` is my ringtone in my phone.

Task#1-Christmas around the world

Okey then, I am going to write about Christmas and I hope you like it. I chose two places Finland and Madagascar, because I have been in Finland a lot of times and I chose Madagascar, because the name of that place is a little bit funny. Oh, and also Merry Christmas everybody!

Christmas in Finland

Finnish pepole belive that Santa lives in the north part of Finland Korvatunturi (or Lapland), north of the Arctic Circle. In Finnish Merry Christmas is 'Hyvää Joulua'. Everyone cleans their houses ready for the three holydays of Christmas - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. Christmas Eve is very special, when people eat rice porridge and plum fruit juice in the morning. They will then decorate a spruce tree in the home.  In the evening, a traditional Christmas dinner is eaten. The meal will include 'casseroles' containing macaroni, rutabaga, carrot and potato, with cooked ham or turkey.

Christmas in Madagascar

Madagascar is an Island off the east coast of Africa (if someone does not now), so it is very warm at Christmas time in Madagascar! Even though it's hot, common decorations include holly, robins and snow even though none of them exist in Madagascar! The official language of Madagascar is Malagasy. 'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year' in Malagasy is 'Mirary Krismasy sambatra sy Taona vaovao tonga lafatra ho anao'. In Madagascar, Santa Claus is called 'Dadabe Noely. Madagascan families like to eat Christmas dinner together in large groups and dress up in the best (or new) clothes. The meal is normally Chicken or Pork with rice followed by a special cake. Some rich people go to restaurants for Christmas dinner, but most people stay at home with their families.
